ABOUT OUR FOUNDERS
Mike & Corrie-Beth Lipowski are the founders of the PURE PHYSIQUE franchise.
Mike opened the original Westchester, NY studio in 2007.
Just a few years later, Corrie-Beth (a client at the time) underwent her own transformation following PURE's time-efficient fitness model, losing 30 lbs. after years of unsuccessful dieting and hours of cardio each week.
One year later, Mike broke his personal rule of "never date a client"—for the first and only time in his career—the two were married and Corrie-Beth left her teaching career to join Mike in a fitness career.
Together with an amazing team, PURE has since grown into a fitness studio franchise and an internationally renowned coaching program.
Corrie-Beth and Mike also have two young boys; making PURE their personal solution for staying fit as busy parents.

PURE PHYSIQUE is a boutique strength-training studio built for busy adults, especially 35–55 year old moms, who want visible results in just 2–3 thirty‑minute sessions per week.
You’re not selling access to treadmills; you’re selling a highly structured, trainer‑led, strength training system that helps clients lose fat, build muscle, and feel confident without living in the gym.
That focus lets you command premium pricing in a smaller footprint, which keeps your buildout and operating costs lean compared to big‑box or large‑format concepts.
What is the total investment?
The franchise fee is $50,000. The total initial investment, including buildout, equipment, opening marketing, and working capital, typically ranges from $197,650 to $270,900. Ongoing royalties are 5% of gross revenue, with a 10‑year term. Currently, there is no national marketing fund; instead, franchisees are expected to reinvest at least 2% of monthly gross revenue into local advertising to maintain strong demand.
Do I need fitness experience to own a PURE PHYSIQUE franchise?
No. About 60% of our current owners come from corporate or business backgrounds, not fitness. Around 40% have fitness experience. We teach you the system; you focus on leading a team, managing the numbers, and building your community. The model works for committed owner‑operators and select semi‑absentee owners who have strong managers in place.
How much can I earn with a studio?
PURE PHYSIQUE studios are designed to be lean, high-margin operations: smaller footprint (1,400-1,700 sq ft), focused staffing (2-4 employees), and a premium membership model built around recurring revenue from busy professionals. Many owners aim to replace a professional salary with a single studio and then grow their income further by adding locations.
Actual results vary by market, execution, and adherence to the playbook. Once we’ve confirmed there’s a mutual fit, we walk you through our real revenue and expense data from existing studios in our Franchise Disclosure Document so you can see exactly how the numbers work before you decide.
Can I keep my current job, or is this full-time?
Most owners start as hands‑on owner‑operators to drive culture, sales, and early growth. Some transition to a semi‑absentee model over time by installing a strong manager once the studio is stable.
What training and support do you provide?
You get 10 days of in‑person training split between HQ and your studio. After that, we run weekly coaching calls: one owner call and one team call that includes your staff. You also get done‑with‑you marketing and sales support so you’re not guessing how to get or close members. This all exists to increase the perceived likelihood of success and reduce the “I’m doing this alone” risk.
How will you help me get and keep clients?
We give you tested campaigns, offers, and scripts tailored to your local market, plus guidance on advertising channels. On the retention side, the model is built around structured programming, coaching, and community, which keeps busy adults engaged and paying month after month.
Where can I open, and do I get a protected territory?
We are currently awarding territories across the United States. Each franchisee receives a defined, protected area so you’re not competing with another PURE PHYSIQUE down the street.
What are the steps to becoming a franchisee?
